On Monday, January 11th 2016, A UNICEF team took part in the humanitarian convoy that delivered the much needed aid for children and families in Madaya. UNICEF delivered therapeutic food, multiple micro-nutrients, high energy biscuits and other nutrition supplies for the treatment of severe and acute malnutrition.

UNICEF Representative met children and their families inside Madaya. They explained to her how they survived extreme conditions.  Many of them said they had to eat soup made of leaves, water and spices, because of lack of food.
